#28 EVOLUTION OF THOUGHT AND PROGRESSION

We are created by thought; the thought of the Universal Mind.  Thought precedes form. Always!   Thought manifests in physical form.  Thought evolves.  It is the evolution of thought manifested in physical form that we perceive as physical evolution.  The change in thought occurs first.  The physical change is then followed.  Realize that the physical world we see is but
a projection of the mental world.  So what we see and think of as a change occurring in the physical world as proof of time is just the blinking thoughts of infinite mental imagery.
We are creatures of imaginary evolution.  Evolution is the creative expansion of our thoughts translated into to physical form.    Evolution is represented by our ability to physically project infinite options.  We see change and think the physical world is adapting to its environment, but we do not realize that we create that environment.  We evolve through thought.  Thought evolution is not progressive in an infinite world.  Thought evolution is change or motion from viewing perspective.  However, all viewing options or paths are always available.
Change occurs in the form of thought evolution.  By evolution, I mean creativity not progress.  Thought projects forth into reality like a beam of light.  Like a beam of light the conscious mind inspects from various view-points.  Again, think of an object like a 3-dimensional apple.  You can view virtually any angle of the physical object.  You can move slowly or you can jump around the 3-dimensional apple.  However, the object remains unchanged although you are certain you see change, such as a worm hole or an unusually red spot.  We inspect reality in much the same way.  We view reality through the spotlight of our thoughts.  The change we see is due to our viewing angle.
Thought is our creative core.  Evolution is change in our materialized thought.  Creation and evolution are not separate and distinct, they go hand in hand.  Our thoughts manifest and form takes shape molded to the perfection of our thoughts.  We are expressive physically, yet barricade our evolutionary ideals within the parameter of time.    Physical scientists such as Darwin examined the physical world and saw change because we are in a constant state of becoming.  We are in a constant state of motion.  Everything is moving, colliding and attracting infinitely.  What Darwin interpreted as natural selection is evolution of thought plunged into the physical world.
Thoughts changes slowly because of the brewing of thoughts and the Law of Attraction.  However, we also find the quantum leaps provided by it as well.  We need to look inward to explain outward appearances.  Religion comes closer to identifying our roots in that it gives credence to Universal power.  However, it stops short in refusing to recognize that this power resides in us.
If you have ever read Dr. Seuss’ Zax before you get somewhat of a picture of the clash between religion and science.  As the story goes, a north going Zax meets a south going Zax.  Both Zax’s declare they never veer from their track; they never go around and they never budge.  So there the two Zax’s stood unbudged in their North and South going tracks while the world went on all around them.  The story is a lesson on compromise.  Ultimately, I am not here to reconcile the church’s belief with the Darwinian Theory.  I can only tell you what I believe and what I look to validate.  What you believe and what you validate uniquely make up you.
Physical manifestation of thought reconciles creation and evolution.  It places the powerful scepter in the hands of a creator (you) all while validating the evolutionary changes we perceive in the physical world as a result of our own self-enrichment and changes in our thoughts.  We are both the creators and the evolvers.
When we evolve we change.  Change does not equate to linear progression because our beliefs are just clumped thoughts.  Thoughts and beliefs change constantly at our whims.  Remember, it is our viewing angle that changes.  If we have infinity to view, then there are going to be many angles in which to view.  The change that we think of as time is a change in our view point which translates into infinite thoughts projected out
Our concept of progression is progress. Whether it is progressively worse or progressively better, we view progress as linear. Because we have this finely tuned concept of progression, we apply it our thinking.  We do not really hold of a concept of the Quantum Leap.  Most of us cannot quite wrap our minds around Quantum Leaps much less define them.  Often we think of a Quantum leap as something abrupt or gigantic such as a massive step forward.  A quantum leap is a leap from one point to another without passing through any points in between.
Our thoughts and beliefs are moments of leaps.  They do not follow paths.  Leaps in different directions with reality materializing based upon our current status quo set of beliefs.  Our thoughts and our reality are dynamic points of coordination, not at all linear and not at all progressive based on some value of time or knowledge.  The conscious mind leaps its attention to a point.  However, inspection points flow rather consistently since our beliefs hold our reality firmly planted.  Very little physical change appears.  The little change we do perceive is the gradual shifting of beliefs.
If today I believe that earth’s orbit is circular and tomorrow I change my belief to support an elliptical orbit has linear progress occurred?  What if I change my new belief?  I believe I am progressing but really I am not.  I’m spring boarding around beliefs.
Any belief can change at any time with thought and validation lent to it.  Your thoughts are not bound by time and dimension.  Your thoughts are not two or three dimensional.  You cannot see them, yet they are there.  Since time and dimension cannot bind them, thoughts are free to manipulate multi-dimensionally outside of the restraints of time and progress.  We would literally astound ourselves if we gave more credibility to the power of our thoughts.  You can call up what you think of as the past, suppose the future and consider the present all of which occur now in your mind.  Your mind cannot differentiate between the pictures you draw and when they occur.
Consider the direction north.  True north is not a valid direction except in context to where you currently are.  True north could exist above or below your current coordinate points.  It could be somewhere on a topographical map or somewhere in outer space.  But which way is it?  It depends, doesn’t it, on where you are positioned?  True north exists everywhere and yet nowhere all at the same time.  All points can be true north and all points can be proved not to be true north.  So too, time cannot be defined except in context to where you consider yourself now.  You always consider yourself in the moment now.  So when you consider the past or the future, it is done so only by thought.  There is no other way to compare your experiences except through relationship to your current thought.  What you perceive as time is action and motion.  But now is yesterday’s future, tomorrow’s past and this moment’s now all intervening in the same coordinate points.  You might consider your past gone or your future awaiting, yet as odd as it seems it is only the position from which you are viewing that changes.; like that blob of paint mentioned earlier, you exist everywhere and in every form but what you hone in on now is what you call the present.
Just like true north, you exist everywhere at the same time.  The moment you call now is connected to your futures past and your past’s future.  It is all the same moment and occurs eternally now.  It is only that you say this is not the past or this is not my future because of the point from which you are inspecting your position.  Just as you would say true north is not here or there, yet it is.

#27 TIME IS THE GREATEST ILLUSION OF ALL

It may seem crazy to imagine that most of the matter in our universe is composed of exotic subatomic particles of varieties never yet observed, or that there are billions of universes each subject to a different set of laws, or that the mind may be said to bring the universe into existence.  But quite possibly such hypotheses are, as Niels Bohr often used to say in exploring the atom, “are not crazy enough.”

We work within the parameters of nicely organized segments of time defining it according to our own beliefs and interpretations.  Yet, it is only an illusion of time that we carry.  As natural as time feels to us as we incorporate it within our language, thought and behavior, you will not find time reflected in the scientific quotations of physics.  We find time with all the characteristic precision we give it, unaccounted for.
Of all the concepts we will work with, the concept of time is the most challenging to grasp because it is a belief (and only a belief) that is so ingrained into our way of thinking that quite literally everything we do is measured by the staff of time.  We count days, weeks, months and years from the moment we are born.  Our day is sliced into hours, minutes and seconds.  We have clocks on every wall, in our car and adorning our body.  Of all of our mega beliefs, this one is the super-giant.  Every day we succumb to the beliefs of time.  The concept of time matters in regards to your abilities because beliefs in time encase your creative potential within a fabricated concept of time obscuring the immediacy of opportunity available to you.  We think if we are at point A and want to get to point B, time must pass.  By embracing time, we reject the power of the moment.  Time is not a lapse or a passage.  What we think of as time is really perceived motion.
Everything is in motion.  The power of our thoughts relies upon the motion of energy to thrust matter together.  However, when we inhibit this motion by our concept of time we take away the power of now by putting indefinite amounts of motion in our path to success.  This means that we believe we must see a string of motion (change) before a particular thought can materialize.
It is not without difficulty that we attempt grasping a timeless universe.  Most of us cannot.  We have become so accustomed to viewing our world through the binoculars of time that any separation from it becomes nearly impossible.  We validate our definition of time by providing preconditioned examples of our own choosing as proof that time exists, such as the clock on the wall, calendars, or birthday celebrations.  Our beliefs appear valid since we create both the belief and the filter through which we view the belief.  For example, we say there are 24 hours in a day.  We validate this belief by putting a clock on the wall to count the 24 hours.  Hence, our belief that there are 24 hours in a day seems real.  Consequently, we cannot separate the belief from our filter.
Already you might think, “What?  There are 24 hours in a day!  Of course time exists.”  Consider this.  Time is motion.  What is an hour?  Do you have any idea how an hour is defined or do you rely exclusively upon your wall clock for that knowledge?   An hour is 1/24th of a day.  A day is measured in relationship to earth’s revolution on its axis in relationship to the sun.  Therefore, the movement of Earth in relationship to the sun is how we define an hour.  If all movement were to suddenly stop, where would time be?  If Earth stopped moving, how would we define an hour?  Our concept of time relies upon motion.  What you see in relationship to your clock on the wall is movement; movement of the clock in relationship to you.  Since time relies upon motion, it is not an independent thing.   If time were independent, it would exist in and of itself.   However, when motion stops so does time.
We can point to the earth’s revolution around the sun, seasonal changes and differences between morning and night as proof of a linear existence of time.  However, all of these examples are still examples of motion, not time.  Our physical eye observes the motion.  We in turn organize the motion within our definition of time; the definition, recall which we invented.  Effectively, motion does not validate a linear causal relationship with time.  Motion is movement and is not bound by linear consistency.
How do you know that the world does not blink on and off in intervals?  What if it takes the Earth over 11,000 years to circle the sun?  The Earth and you could blink on for what you think of as a day, and then blink off for what you think of as a year.  You would notice only the “on” blinks.  Therefore, concluding after counting 365 days that a year had passed.  When in actuality 11,102 years had passed.  It is motion that we see and measure.  Time does not exist.
What we think of as time is always relative to perceived motion.  You cannot measure motion either except in relationship (relative) to something else.  Everything moves.  The sun moves. Earth moves.  You are on Earth moving.  The atoms in your body move.  Even a seemingly stationary rock has movement within itself as the electrons whiz around.
Motion is relative to our viewing angel.  When we think of yesterday we automatically think of time passing.  However, yesterday is not a measurable distance from now in terms of time.  Now is our current viewing angle.  Yesterday is mental motion or thoughts translated physically from our “now” perspective.  The amount of translated thoughts you perceive from your now position is what you think of as time.
The world is full of forged beliefs created for the convenience of communication.  It is only because we have this belief in time that we think some lapse must have occurred for A to turn to B.  The change could be in position, color, size, or some other variation of sorts.  It was this sort of observation, whether it was a new wrinkle we noticed on our face or a star that shifted, that gave us our perception of time.
You think a passage of time has occurred because you observe physical differences, but these physical differences are a projection of your thoughts.  Change is observation about an idea (thought) we hold within our mind.  All data is available to us equivocally.  I hold within my mind data and mental pictures that I use for creating my past, present and future.  I have infinite potential to call forth any data.  It is the data that I do call forth that I measure and view against my existing thoughts that gives the impression of time.  For example, when you compare your now moment, you compare it to previous thoughts; thoughts plunged physically out into form.  It feels like time has passed because the thought you hold in your mind “now” is different than a thought previously held.  It is the points of inspection from a physical stand point that have changed.   Your thoughts are not linear and neither is the relationship that exists between them.
Time is an ingrained belief we hold that’s definition too has changed based on social beliefs.  Compare our calendars to that of the Mayan, Julian, Gregorian or Chinese calendars to see that our views are inconsistent and have changed.   There are roughly 40 calendars in use today world- wide (Fraser, 1987). Whatever their seemingly scientific sophistication, calendars must ultimately be judged as social contracts, not as scientific treatises.
All change occurs within the mind.  We are in a constant state of becoming.  The mind is the only place where the past, present and future converge in indistinguishable differences.  Time does not exist in your mind.  If you think it does, go inside of your mind and try distinguishing the difference.  Other than through your wall clock, time is meaningless in the mind.  Close your eyes and think of you as a child, now as an adult. How much time has passed in your mind?  You do not really know.  All you see are images.  In the conscious mind time holds no meaning.  The boundaries that exist between past, present and future are illusions caused by a series of thoughts.  This series of thoughts are thrust out into perceivable physical action.  This series of thoughts represented by physical action gives us motion.
Your thoughts can arrange and rearrange data at any moment and in any way.  However, all of the material is always present for arranging.  Think of a rainbow of paint spilled infinitely across your floor; paint capable of shifting shape, mixing reds and yellows to form orange and then separating color back out.  Every color in the paint exists always.  It is only the point of inspection that changes.  You could go on looking at the colors of paints and mixes following any path along the strand of colors.  The conscious mind inspects the Universal infinities in much this same way.  Everything is always available and the choices are infinite.
You are in an infinite state of becoming.  Time cannot exist where there is no beginning or end.  Infinity is void of time.  If you believe you are infinite then time is meaningless.  Unfortunately, when we wrap our mind with time, the concept of infinity becomes difficult for us to master.  Infinity cannot coexist with time. Since we work within the parameters of time, infinity becomes very difficult for us to grasp.  We become too eager to insert a beginning and an end.

#26 Acquaint Yourself with your Feelings

Your feelings provide the measuring stick by which the richness of your thought is compared.  As you think, you feel.  Feelings interpret the thoughts and provide feedback.
If you were void of feelings, your experience would lack direction.  Hatred, kindness, love, hurt, lack and abundance would hold the same value.  Since you are here to create, you equipped yourself with feelings as a personal built in device to aid in the navigation of your experiences.  Thus, feelings direct you towards harmony and abundance and away from lack and despair.  This is another astonishing secret to achievement.  It is only when you fail to take note of this built in device that you feel overwhelmed by emotion.  If you were not equipped with the emotional richness of your feelings, your experiences would provide little value.  After all what would you create if you were emotionally void?  How would you direct your experiences accordingly?  What would the point be in experiencing success, failure, a family, love, happiness, or anger?  Your feelings provide you with that measuring stick.  They guide your thoughts towards constructive purposes; purposes that you personally feel good about.  Conversely, they steer you away from destructive experiences.  Feelings are intended to guide us towards universal harmony.  If you want to be abundant follow the course of your feelings.  They are your personal yellow brick road.
Often we allow emotions to lead us into a frenzy of cyclical thought patterns.  When thoughts are beneficial feelings of harmony, happiness, excitement and elation spawn.  These feelings aid in promoting ongoing thoughts of harmony.  Equally, when thoughts are in discord, feelings presented are meant as a signal to change your thinking.
However, instead of change we often embrace the negative thoughts and allow ourselves to wallow in their despair.  Why?  When we do not realize we create our reality, we allow magnetized thoughts to continue to attract each other.  We do not bother to reverse our thoughts.  The situation holds our attention commanding our focus.  More and more thoughts are obsessively lent.  We submit to the feeling.  It’s the mechanics of the Law of Attraction at work:  Like attracts like.  Feelings are intended to steer us out of thought corkscrews when the attracting thoughts are destructive and swell our thoughts when they are constructive.  They keep us on course.  When we learn that we create our reality, we know that changing our thoughts will change our feelings and ultimately our experience.  We will learn later why our emotionally intense thoughts, whether they are constructive or destructive, do not stay that long. We will also learn why deliberately holding thoughts can alter our course.  For now, we will continue talking about feelings.
Our thoughts are always there.  They are always with us, yet, too often go unnoticed.  Feelings reel us in forcing an inward inspection.  You become aware of your thoughts in moments of intense feelings.  Think about the times you were angry or hurt.  You can probably recall quite vividly the thoughts that raced through your head during those times.  Words you said in anger, rebuttals you wished you had given or the bite of someone’s stinging comments.  You can also easily recall your thoughts as you watched your daughter marry, during the birth of your son, or when you received special recognition at work.  You can hardly recall what you were thinking about two weeks ago Thursday driving home from work.
Emotions cause you to inspect inwardly.  Without emotions, you rarely pay attention to your escaping thoughts.  Our feelings are intended to steer us towards harmony where thoughts, beliefs and feelings are succinct with the harmony of the Universal Mind.  Harmony harnesses our personal power turning us into a magnet for reaching our ideals.  Consider how you would pivot position with thoughts that escape your attention and beliefs that keep you firmly planted in position, if it were not for feelings.  In which direction would you guide your thoughts?  You would not be able to move position if you did not have something to nudge you along.    Our feelings help us!  Feelings help course our thoughts.
Due to their intensity, thoughts coupled with intense feelings are powerful attractors.  You radiate strongly when you feel immensely good or immensely bad.  Negative feelings are urgent telegrams imploring you to change your thoughts.  The longer you wallow in negativity, the greater the likelihood that a negative experience will occur.  You become a magnet for negativity.  Pleasant feelings are indications that your thoughts and beliefs are harmonious.  You are a magnet for them.
When you feel hurt, angry, mad, scared, upset, rejected or taken advantage, changing your thoughts will change the emotion.  However, it is not enough to fake feeling good about something.  Feelings are a sign of conflict with harmony or cohesiveness with harmony.  If your experiences are in agreement with your ideals then you feel good.  You feel bad when experiences conflict with your ideals.  You feel neutral when you are maintaining status quo, meaning you are doing nothing to change your current situation for the better or the worse.  Feelings are meant to steer you towards your ideals by reminding you to tend to your thoughts.  If you are feeling bad or feeling neutral you have work to do.  If you feel elated, you are on the right path.
You create!  As you do this, thoughts and beliefs will solidify into new experiences.  When your experiences have shifted into a new normal neutral position for you, your feelings will become unnoticeable again.  You will feel a new normal neutral point as you settle into this new regimen of thoughts.  For example, consider the emotional outpour felt during a relationship breakup.  You spin thoughts of hurt, anger, frustration, or perhaps even relief.  However, you do not spin these emotional thoughts long.  During the onset they are the strongest.  New thoughts gradually settle in accepting the split.  The break-up becomes your new normal neutral position.   As you adjust to this position, feelings subside.
Your feelings guide you as you move toward a position.  Getting comfortable in your day to day routine provides that general numbness that you feel.  You must “move” thought positions to engage your feelings.  Once you provide the thoughts that move you towards harmony you will stop feeling elation as beliefs cement.  You must then think new thoughts to move further along.
Remember the conscious mind enjoys active spontaneous thought.  You will become overwhelmed unless you allow beliefs to take over passively.  For example, as thoughts move you towards disparaging situations, like thoughts will attract more like thoughts.  You will begin to feel bad as experiences migrate towards you.  If you do not at that point actively pursue other thoughts, reality will emerge consistent with the disparaging thoughts.  As this occurs you validate the reality as proof that your thoughts are correct.  When you do this consistently, a belief will form.  Once a belief forms the conscious mind tucks the belief away allowing it to passively attract giving the conscious mind free roaming ability again.  As this occurs, feelings subside.  You become comfortably numb in your new normal neutral position.
Feelings display during active attraction because the thoughts that are responsible for creating the feeling are presently held within the conscious mind.  Once the thoughts are tucked away as beliefs, you no longer feel until you intentionally rattle the thoughts around.  Feelings represent a change in either direction from status quo or as I like to refer to it, as normal neutral.
Previously, you may have been directed to manipulate your emotions by forcing feelings of joy and elation.  That must be done, not to the exclusion of your thoughts or the manipulation of your feelings, but the inclusion of both thoughts and feelings.  When the parts work together, the results are definite.  We say, “I wish I felt better,” or “I hope you feel better.”  You cannot feel joy and elation without thinking joyful thoughts.  Thoughts come first.  We should instruct ourselves and others to think better thoughts not feel better.  The feelings will then follow since thought evokes feeling.
Your feelings are your expectations as to what will occur because of the pleasure or pain they provide.  Feeling either sensation is an indication of what is heading your way.  As soon as we realize we have this very powerful navigational system within us, we can begin to direct our physical reality in unimaginable ways.  If we listen to the whispers of our feelings immediately redirecting thoughts that are destructive in nature to those feel good thoughts, we will navigate directly to harmony’s doorstep.  Our feelings point the way.   If you unsure what to think or become overwhelmed inspecting your thoughts, then think of what makes you feel good.  You can enjoy monumental leaps in experiences by adjusting thoughts to feelings that bombard you with pleasure.
Your course of events will turn as you consistently apply this knowledge.  Your choice to redirect destructive thoughts immediately as negative feelings present or flounder in them determines the speed and likelihood in which a change will occur.  The choice is always yours.
Your thoughts are energy in motion.  As you think, like energy vibrates and attracts toward you.  A sudden change from destructive to constructive thought more than likely is not enough force to repel the energy already in motion.  You need sufficient opposing thoughts to redirect the energy heading your way.  A lifetime of destructive thoughts cannot be uprooted by hope and positivity.  Constructively crafted thoughts must be employed to cast off what has been formed; authority of present beliefs must be met with the muscle of new thoughts.
An equal and opposite force is necessary to work upon the negative thought energy already in motion.  That is why we often experience the physical residual of negative thought long after the thoughts vanish.  Lending our thoughts only temporarily to bursts of enthusiasm ends in deflated defeat.  The small attempts at constructive thought are not enough to ward off the negative energy already attracted.  We then make faulty assumptions that our powers are fictitious or inadequate because we perceive no change.  Ultimately, we retreat to our habitual way of thought further validating status quo.
You may have to endure the negative experiences momentarily as your thoughts change constructively.  Know that your experiences are only temporary and will change to benefit you by holding on to “feel good” thoughts.  Ultimately, enduring something momentarily is much better than blindly enduring something for a lifetime.
In consideration of your current state of affairs you may wonder why you do not have to think of your bills, medical condition, or the turmoil present in your life with such propensity of emotion.  I will remind you that you have done so with redundancy you entire life, years and even decades for some.  You have committed your “way” of thinking to your habitual thought process and have formed barriers in the form of beliefs that support your lack.  Since you have done this to yourself for so long, your thoughts are frequent, redundant and have attracted to you just those conditions of your thoughts.  You are getting exactly what you think about because you have committed your thoughts to beliefs that pump out your reality.  You do not have to think about your bills or present conditions with a knowing awareness.  You have committed your way of life to a belief that churns our reality.  Beliefs churn out reality quite inconspicuously. Once you have mastered your new way of thinking, it will be committed to with the same automation as your current state. Thoughts always attempt to materialize themselves.
To this point we have talked about our creative purpose and the workings of our mind.  We learned that thoughts produce things and are governed by beliefs.  Doubt signals potential change.  Feelings guide us towards harmony and away from despair.  There is one final piece of the puzzle that we need to comprehend before moving on to an understanding of how to put thoughts, beliefs and feelings in constructive alignment.  We must understand the significant impression we have of time and the bearing it has on actualizing.

#25 Feelings as Your Navigational Guide

Feelings can be confusing, annoying, hurtful, and frustrating unless you know what they are.  Feelings are your sensory gauges reacting to your thoughts.  Your thoughts ALWAYS come first providing the corresponding feeling.  The physical world including other people are NOT responsible for the way you feel.  You feel according to your thoughts and no-one or no-thing can produce your thoughts.
When you experience your thoughts a corresponding emotion is sent as a thought enticement or thought deterrent.  Pleasant feelings beckon more of the same thoughts while unpleasant feelings signal you to change your thinking. Feelings are intended to guide your thoughts.  You can easily sneak up on your thoughts through your feelings. How you feel depends entirely upon what you have been thinking.  It is impossible to feel bad when you are having “on top of the world thoughts,” just as it is impossible to feel fantastic when your thinking has been down in the dumps.   The difficulty arises when we do not regard our feelings as guides.  We misinterpret our feelings as a product of the physical world, something that the physical world has caused us to feel, instead of a byproduct of our mental thoughts.
If you are happy, mad, angry or frustrated understand that your thoughts produced the feeling.  It is easy to say, “She made me mad!”  However, it is much more powerful to know that she does not control your thoughts.  Only your thinking can upset you.  After all, is she in charge of your thoughts or are you in charge of your thoughts?  Are you a puppet with a puppet master or are you in control?  You are in charge of you, right!  She, he or they cannot regulate your thoughts.  So stop relinquishing power to a person other than yourself.  Step up to the plate and take responsibility for how you feel.
We can alter our moods and emotions by changing our thoughts since our thoughts are responsible for our feelings.  You can self-induce feelings of elation, joy, harmony just as you can produce sadness, lack or loss of control.  Your thoughts change your mood and provide the feeling.  You are in control of how you feel, always.
The choice to feel good or bad, full of abundance or lack, mad, sad, taken advantage of, discriminated against, frustrated, disappointed, ill or well is always up to you because you initiate the thoughts that produce the feeling.  The situation that you feel powerless over is always within your power to change.  Change begins with directing your predominant thoughts and attitudes in a harmonious fashion.  You can either change your thoughts to stop producing the adverse emotional feedback or get stuck on a cyclical thought corkscrew looping the same response back.
When your thoughts, beliefs and feelings are aligned, you become a powerful attractor.  This cohesiveness unleashes your personal power.  Make no mistake though, like attracts like.  When your thoughts, beliefs and feelings are negative, you become a mammoth attractor for negativity.  The friend you know who always feels bad, has thoughts that are down in the dumps, or who never seems to catch a break is powerfully attracting their negative experience since thoughts and beliefs are unified with feelings.  Conversely, the person who seems to have the Midas touch when it comes to success similarly has thoughts, beliefs and feelings fused together.  Your ability to dominate your experiences lies in the positive unity of these three power provokers:   Thoughts, beliefs and feelings unified.
Thoughts float through our mind like fresh fallen snow.  You can no more catch each snowflake than you can capture each thought.  Feelings provide trustworthy gauges as to your predominant thoughts.  Feelings equip you with input from the physical world.  They are the navigational instruments of thought.
If you want to know the value of your current thinking, ask yourself “How do I feel?”  If you feel well, happy, harmonious and abundant then your thoughts are serving you well.  If you feel ill, lack, despair, or powerless than your thoughts are damaging.
When you feel bad about your current state of affairs realize that your feelings are signaling the inner self to change the frequency.  When you ignore the signals allowing despondent thoughts to continue, the feelings intensify and become powerful attractors of negativity.  Now you have bad thoughts, bad feelings and beliefs expecting despondency all on the same frequency.  Disaster hits.  It is this sort of cohesive rut we often find ourselves in because of our unwillingness to shift our thoughts.  When you allow your thoughts to cycle with your beliefs firmly fixed on the bad, coupled with a corresponding feeling you become an enormous attractor of that worrisome thing.  For example, I just found a lump I believe to be cancerous coupled with an intense unpleasant emotion creates a situation where destruction is attracted.
You have heard so many times that believing is half the battle when it comes to illness or any success for that matter.  Believing in you unifies constructive thoughts, beliefs and feelings.  Now you have made yourself a constructive attractor.  That is the secret to turning the corner to success:  Unity of constructive thought vs. unity of destructive thought.
We force ourselves off destructive frequencies only by redirecting our thoughts.  Our reality will evolve and our feelings will change to support the change in thinking.  You do this so often without knowing that it is actually your feelings that change only after your thoughts change.  You no longer feel unhappy when you stop thinking about soured relationships, commiserations and misfortunes.  Feelings abandon you when the thoughts leave.
Feelings serve to guide you right to harmonies door step.  You cannot force yourself to feel good, but you can certainly force thoughts that make you feel good.  Feeling good is an indication that you are creating constructively.  Feeling bad indicates you are creating destructively.  This built in device directs you towards harmony.  All you have to do is consistently think thoughts that radiate strong feelings of pleasantries.

#24 What DOUBT is and what it is not.

Doubt sticks to us like a wad of gum on the bottom of our shoe.  Yet, within each dose of doubt awaits an opportunity to discover an underserving belief!

For many of us, the swing to success and abundance is full of self-doubting messages.  We feel good temporarily as we move towards new and exciting goals.  Our enthusiasm is up.  We are really going to do it this time!  However, it does not take long before we find ourselves abandoning our fresh new ideals in favor of present contentment.  We suddenly seem pacified again that our lot in life should be accepted.    We settle back into the mediocrity of life because we doubt our aspirations.
Recognize doubt for what it really is.  Doubt is a messenger not a measure of your capabilities or an interpretation of reality.  It is a messenger with a purpose:  to restore order amongst the temporary chaos in your belief system.  Doubt moves your thinking back to normal (neutral).
Doubt offers itself up often.  We start down the path towards abundance only to be ambushed by our messengers (hesitation, confusion, doubt).  We retreat when we should have kept going.  When you feel hesitation, confusion or fear your belief structure is being tested for potential weaknesses by fresh new thoughts vying for a chance at survival.  The new thought frequency wants to flourish collecting other like thoughts until it too becomes a belief.  Your current beliefs guard you.  When conflicting thoughts gain enough momentum a message is sent to the inner psyche instructing it to reinforce current beliefs.  Send in greater arsenal in.  Send in doubt,” it seems to say.  We are being attacked by a new frequency.”
The pings of doubt offer extraordinary opportunities for us that are so often overlooked.  When we misinterpret the messenger, we miss the opportunity.  Doubt comes to you cloaked in your current belief.  The onion you have been looking for reveals itself.  It is right there under your nose!  All you have to do is sniff out the message.  What is the content of the message?  I cannot do it.  I will never make it.  I have a one in a million chance.  I am too ordinary.  These are your beliefs coming through to you.
You have likely heard of self-talk.  Self-talk is the thoughts of your beliefs tip-toeing through your mind.  Consequently, it is not necessary for a complete psycho-analysis of your thoughts to occur in order to break through belief barriers.  All that is necessary to move towards your goals is this:  Be aware of these messages and work actively against them by validating a new belief in opposition to the doubtful message sent.  That is the secret to breaking through the barriers of your beliefs.
Doubt enters your awareness as contradictory thoughts only when thoughts are presented that conflict with a current belief.  That is the only time doubt presents itself.  Think about the times you doubt yourself, your abilities, circumstances, or opportunities.  It is always relative to a change in thinking.  Doubt appears when you want to try something new, make a change, go for it, or chase your dreams.  Your thoughts always come first.  As you consider (think of) new aspirations, it is the new thoughts trying to rub out the old thoughts that start the battle.
Doubt is sent to sniper newly developing thoughts and beliefs.  It is the arsenal of the beliefs currently on guard.  Harboring doubt attracts greater doubtful thoughts until you are filled with so much disbelief that you reject the infant seeds of opportunity you were attempting to grow.
On the other hand, we do not want to be that hard on doubt because it is intended to assist you.  Your engaged beliefs are ready to serve you.  You assembled thoughts into beliefs to eliminate the amounts of data you would otherwise have to sift through again and again.  You allowed your beliefs to stand guard at the palace door of the infinite freeing the conscious mind for other work.  Your beliefs would not be effective servants if protection was not provided.  Protection is cloaked in the form of doubt.
Doubt is a message to you that your current thoughts are not copasetic with your beliefs.  The intention is to restore harmony within your belief framework by changing whatever your current thoughts are to realign with the existing belief.
Doubt is not always an offender.  Often it serves you well.  When you decide to pull your hand out of the ferret’s cage, it is doubt that reminds you that you believe ferrets bite.  Doubt allows you to read other people’s sincerity.  It prevents you from making mistakes such as dashing across the street in front of a car or attempting to beat a train across the tracks.  It reminds you that you believe trains are faster than you.  It is sent quickly and efficiently to eradicate thoughts that are not cohesive with an existing belief.
Remember, your belief system is stacked with like patterned thoughts.  As you settled into your life as a beautician, you attracted thoughts on being a beautician.  But you also attracted thoughts on what you are not:  I am not a millionaire.  I am not a business owner.  I am not an entrepreneur.  I am not all these things.  As you attempt to go from beautician to beauty shop owner all of these thoughts you house fire away reminding you of the reality you have created.  That is where your doubt enters.  Doubt attempts to prevent your experiences.  Doubt is telling you that experiences will change if you continue entertaining these new thoughts that are not part of the old belief system.  Doubt signals potential to change.
Perpetuating contradictory thoughts extends and intensifies doubt until you dismiss doubt from your mind.  Doubt weakens in two ways:  (1) You stop thinking your fresh new thoughts and revert to the old way of thinking or (2) You strengthen your new thoughts.  As new thoughts take charge, your old thoughts crumble bringing the doubtful messages with them.  If you invite doubt to stay, like an annoying house guest, it will overextend its welcome.  Doubt enjoys being the master and will send in all sorts of subservient messages to do its bidding.  Doubt will eventually diminish and extinguish its own flame if you bid it farewell.
Unfortunately, many of us interpret these messages as limitations of our abilities.  We accept the messages as fact as to our chances at success.  Your ability to doubt was never meant to prevent you from reshaping your beliefs.  It is only intended to alert you to disparaging thoughts.
The Infinite Mind cannot distinguish between thoughts that are disparaging and thoughts that are beneficial.  It relies upon the beliefs held within the conscious mind.  Doubt, therefore, only signals when thoughts and beliefs held are mismatched.  Thoughts of quitting your job are ushered by doubt as you are reminded that you believe you need this job.  Doubt reminds you of your current beliefs as well as provides the ammunition necessary to defend your current beliefs.  Doubt is never an interpretation of your ability.  Doubt is thoughts.  Thoughts hold no truth.
Great opportunities exist where doubt is present.  Doubt allows you to identify beliefs that govern your current experiences.  Your imperceptible beliefs that prevent you from achieving success and abundance become perceptible through doubt.  All you need do is exam the contrary thoughts being fired at you.
For example, assume owning your own business is a goal of yours.  Most often you hold it at bay as your someday dream, but occasionally you become excited to start your business after reading a book or talking to a friend.  You begin thinking that owning your own business is something you can actually make happen.  A few days of excited enthusiasm go by as the tiny seeds of a new belief start to form.  As this happens doubt is launched.
Doubt is not always launched immediately, much like two magnets can exist separately at a distance without resisting.  Fresh new thoughts and current beliefs can coexist as well for a period of time.  However, as the magnetic forces confront each other they repel.  The conscious mind allows itself freedom of thought.  If doubt were launched each time a conflicting thought entered your mind you would not have freedom of thought.  Doubt is launched as the seeds of a new belief are planted growing and pushing against old beliefs. As these new seeds squeeze in, repelling occurs.  We call it doubt.  However, it is really only your old belief system repelling your new thoughts.  It is a signal that your experience will change if new thoughts are permitted to grow this belief.  In lieu of this, you should welcome the pings of doubt both as an opportunity to rid yourself of faulty beliefs as well as a welcome signal that new beliefs are being seeded
Since doubt comes only when new thoughts have had time to brew, you should be pleased to feel doubts arrival.  You have done your homework by planting seeds that are progressing.  Continue with your new thoughts if they are constructive and in exact accordance with your ideals.
Take the opportunity to exam the belief originators of that doubt.  What can you learn about these relic beliefs that are preventing you from achieving your ideals?  Seize the moment to reshape previous thinking and then move on.  However, you should not permit doubtful thoughts to continue.  Accept the signal and continue forward cultivating the new belief.  Over analyzing destructive thoughts will attract more destructive thoughts.  Avoid lingering in doubtful messages.
One word of caution:  If doubt were not effective it would be a useless guard.  For that reason, doubt is extremely efficient at wiping out thoughts and ideas that conflict with a currently held belief.  By now you understand that you live in a world of attraction.  Your thoughts attract your experiences.  Physical form materializes based upon thoughts ushered through the mind.  If you allow doubt to linger in your mind, it will bring upon you physical experiences that validate the doubtful messages.  Thoughts are not all that doubt is capable of sending.  Physical form will also follow.  For example, suppose you have a clever idea for an invention.  As your invention idea swells, you allow doubt to permeate your mind.  Soon after, you actually see a similar invention on the market validating the doubtful thoughts such as this invention is already created.  You might also read an article in a magazine stating new inventions are extremely difficult to bring to market, further reinforcing your doubtful thoughts.  Soon afterwards you release the notion of an invention.  Doubt has won the tug-of-war.
Successful and abundant people focus on success and abundance, not failure and lack.  While doubt occasionally enters their mind it is never permitted to stay long.  It is quickly ushered out unto the scrap pile of destructive thought.  Attention is always turned towards the ideal.

#23 Polar Beliefs Stalemate Your Experiences

As you exam your beliefs, you will undoubtedly find several beliefs that are in opposition.  Beliefs,

more than likely, you are unaware of existing.  Beliefs tugging away in opposite directions are called

polar beliefs.  They leave you paralyzed in position.  Unless one belief is significantly stronger,

differences in experiences will not be noticed.  Belief opposition ends in a stalemate!
Your encounter with polarized beliefs presents itself in the form of doubt, fear, long periods of deliberation over choices, over analysis paralysis and other forms of indecision over what action to take.  Pay attention to your thoughts when emotions such as these arise.  A message of sorts is being sent to you that beliefs are not cohesive on the matter.
As an example, people often deliberate extensively over a change in jobs.  Often it is with great difficulty that a decision is made.  However, know this.  If you do not make a choice deliberately over what it is you are deliberating on, a decision will always be made for you.  Your thoughts and beliefs will attract into your experience an option through passive selection based upon your strongest beliefs.  Again, this is seemingly why experiences appear thrust upon us.  We feel we had no choice in the matter.  But we did.  We do not realize that our deliberation was causing a tug-a-war amongst our beliefs.  An experience soon follows the battle with the strongest belief providing our experience.
This period of deliberation is often caused by polar beliefs.  If you look closely, you will see clearly all of the beliefs tugging away at each other.  Consider the potential thoughts a person has as he or she contemplates a switch in jobs:  I have the opportunity to make more money.  But I like the people at my current job.  What if I don’t like the new job?  I work less hours now.  The new job is an advancement opportunity.
While these might look like statements of facts, they are far from it.  They are thoughts about what you believe is important.  They drive your decision making.  What you do not realize is that what is important to you can be contained nicely under one roof when your beliefs support the foundation.  In the above example, a belief is held that limited opportunity and reward are not available in your current position.  Skepticism is conversely held in likeability of the new job and potentially new co-workers.   You could reconcile your beliefs in favor of your current job or in favor of your new job and the deliberation would end.  We arrive at decisions this way; by reconciling our beliefs and validating them.   Our experience then follows.
It is easy to get caught up in excuse making such as, “Well my current job does pay less,” or “I would have to work longer hours!”  But again, thoughts provide experiences.  If your thoughts changed to increasing your pay or working fewer hours now, the way would pave itself in either job.  Unfortunately, your beliefs guard you against seeing those opportunities.
However, in many situations polarized beliefs are not readily apparent although they prevent you from attracting your ideals.  You have many polarized beliefs that you remain contently unaware of.  As you delve into your belief system, these forces of opposition will become more apparent to you.
Ridding polar beliefs is not as crucial as realigning them so they can coexist.  Often it is a matter of reinterpreting one of the beliefs in light of the other.  Occasionally, you will have to reject a polar belief that does not serve your purpose.
Suppose it is important to you be a role model parent to your child.  You may hold the belief that being a responsible parent entails spending as much free time with your child as possible, attending extracurricular activities and being available for homework questions.
However, upon further examination, you may discover that your beliefs regarding success contradict your beliefs on being an ideal parent.  You may believe working long hours, forgoing family vacations, and missed soccer games equate to the hard working endeavors necessary to becoming successful.
Since your beliefs on success contradict your beliefs on being a responsible parent, you may be falsely condemning yourself to a life of mediocrity.  Depending on the intensity of your belief on being a role model parent, you may be attracting those situations that validate your responsible parent role and repelling situations that could provide you with the success you desire without even realizing it.  Because you have a polarized belief tugging against your definition of success, success is elusive. You are not on “successes” frequency because your beliefs are preventing success from migrating to you.  You cannot dodge the strength of your strongest beliefs.
You do not need to change your beliefs on being a responsible parent.  On the contrary, those beliefs are probably quite well in serving you.  However, you do need to change your beliefs on achieving success so it coexists with your beliefs on being a responsible parent.
Since your beliefs about success were most likely picked up from television, books, film features and what little you interpret from successful people, an ingestion of contrary beliefs is needed.  Find stories about successful people who are not working eighty hours a week for those stories only served your old belief system.  Instead seek out stories about successful people engaging in ample opportunities with their children.  Validate your new beliefs regularly.
People often hold contrary beliefs on wealth and abundance, ways in which wealth is provided, beliefs about wanting wealth and perceptions of wealthy people.  For example people’s attempts at achieving wealth and abundance are counteracted upon by their perception of wealthy people as snobs.  While wanting wealth, you may not want the stuffiness of the country club that comes with it.
An individual may live in middle class America unable to escape repetition of thought when it comes to lack of success.  This person might waffle between thoughts of prosperity and conflicting thoughts of doubt, thus ending the battle for success in a stalemate.  Conversely, another person may be born in to utter poverty, yet plant that one seed of opportunity, growing out of poverty into an abundant life far surpassing their middle classman.  It is your thoughts that matter!
While these might not be your specific thoughts, you hold countless beliefs that contradict one another.  Recognizing that opposition results in a stalemate, it is worth your while to inspect your beliefs to ensure they are in alignment with what you are trying to attract.  Dissecting every belief would consume you.  Stick to dissecting those beliefs in areas you wish to effectuate.  What are your problem areas?  Find the polar beliefs.
Do you recognize yourself in any of these descriptions:  pack rat, hoarder, indecisive, difficultly being spontaneous, or are you too routine?  That describes a lot of us, doesn’t it?  If you meet one of these descriptions, what beliefs do you think you harbor in regards to change?  Abundance has no need to hoard or store.  Lack of spontaneity and indecision spell, I don’t know what I want.  If you knew what you wanted, you would do it immediately.  You would not have to think about it.  You have many beliefs that already conflict with change.  Chipping away at polar beliefs allows change to enter in.
With conflicting thoughts consuming our thinking, the event that materializes is either event or a blending of both.  It depends on the intensity, the length of thought given, and the feelings.  Attempts to identify which matter you gave greater frequency of attention to, coupled with the intensity of emotion may be difficult to determine.
Replaying negative episodes in your mind causes you to relive them again and again unnecessarily. Most events do not unfold in the same capacity or intensity that we fear or hope for because of the blending of thoughts lent to the situation.  If we have fretted over something, replaying the event over and over in our mind like a B grade movie will only cause us to repeatedly live mentally and emotionally through the event unnecessarily.  Often events are not are bad as we imagined because of hope blended with fear.  How many times have you said, “Gee, that was not as bad as I thought it would be.”  This is due to our contrary thoughts.  But if we have dwelled solely on the worse case scenario, then the worst case is what we are presented with.  You get what you think about.
As I said before, if you do not intentionally direct your thoughts to an outcome, an outcome will still be produced through the strength of your most powerful beliefs.  Eventually something unfolds creating finality to your deliberation.  Conclusion could come in the form of an unexpected job promotion or raise given from your current employer, a diagnosis could be revoked, or unexpected news could create stronger thoughts in one direction.  Your thoughts and beliefs will always provide for you.
Familiarizing yourself with your beliefs gives you the opportunity to realign them with your ideals.  The law of attraction always provides.  If we feel it has failed us in some way it is only because our thoughts, beliefs and ideals are not in alignment.  One of them is denying you entry to accessing the Universal Mind.
It is said that people who are successful are quick to make decisions and slow to change their mind.  It is not superpower thinking that influences their decision making ability.  It is not special knowledge or higher power.  People who are successful know what they want.  They are quick to make decisions because their beliefs are in alignment with their ideals.  They have wiped out the ping pong game played with polar beliefs.  Your goal is to effectively rid yourself of beliefs that gnaw away at your ideals.  As you do this, you must ratchet up beliefs that support your ideals.  The polarization is then eliminated.  This is all that separates you from stinking thinking and successful thinking.
